YELLOW VARIETIES

Kiwi Kiss

It belongs to the Don Skelton’s varieties group. In Chile is represented by Greenvic. The expected production is 35 tons per hectare, resulting in good size fruit. Harvest period: Before Hayward and Jintao.

Jintao

This variety belongs to the Kiwi Gold consortium in Italy. The companies that have a licence to produce and sell this variety in Chile are: AMS, Frusan, Subsole and UPA.

Sorelli

Early harvest variety. Good relation between soluble-solids and acidity. Harvest period: 3 to 4 weeks before Hayward.

Belen

Male variety located in Chile. Its flowering is similar to the yellow varieties.

GREEN VARIETIES

Hayward

Medium vigor plant, late flowering and a production that reaches 30 tons per hectare. Late harvest and ripeness.

Matua

Very vigorous and breeding plant. Flowering begins two to four days before Hayward.

Tomuri

Vigorous plant with intermidiate flowering. Flowering begins two to four days after Hayward.

PLANT TYPE

Spring Plant quality: 5 cms. sprout.
Finished Sheet Plant quality: truck diameter above rootstock ≥7 mm.
